Rory & Laura, Engaged!

David and I had the pleasure of photographing our friends, Laura & Rory, yesterday. We will be joining them as they celebrate their upcoming wedding this summer. And we are stoked!

We have had a bit of luck with the weather this weekend. Sun! 

We started in the late afternoon to get most of the shots with the warm, setting sun. The romantic light, as I call it.

Sometimes I loose track of time, becuase I start getting tons of ideas, and have to do them all, right then. The last bit of our session, included a lot of speed walking, so we could make it to the last destination before we lost all our light.

I tried to get Laura to give me a "fierce" look, but I learned, not all people can look angry, even if they try. I guess, if God gives you such a beautiful smile, why not wear it all the time? 

And she does, and she is beautiful.
